Our goal is for you to be so satisfied and happy with our service that you return to us for all your regular maintenance and repair needs, and you can’t help but tell your family and friends about us.
- Owners John & Sharon Pomeroy
Pomeroy's Garage has been in business since 1960, first owned by Bill Pomeroy and now by his son John Pomeroy. Locally known for honesty, fairness, and good value, we think you deserve a repair shop that will be honest about what your vehicle needs, use the right tools to fix it right the first time, and charge a fair price.
We think you should be treated with respect. We won't confuse you with technical terms and we won't do any work without your approval. We know how important it is that your estimate is produced promptly, that we stay in touch with you, and that the work is done correctly and quickly.
Finally, we also know that repairs usually don't fit into the budget, so we now offer 0%-Interest Special Financing on qualifying purchases, with your Pomeroy's Garage loyalty credit card. Read more here!
Owner John and Lead Tech Jeff each have more than 20 years of experience, and are ASE Master Technicians with Maine State Auto Inspection Licenses. John is also certified to inspect motorcycles.

The PommyG's Family
Meet the Owner and Service Manager, JOHN POMEROY!
"Hello everyone! I've been the owner of Pomeroy's Garage since my father Bill retired in the early 90's. I married my wife Sharon in 2013, and in 2017 she gave me the best gift of my life... our son Colton. When I'm not at the shop I enjoy hunting, ice fishing, and taking care of our little farm.
Between Dad and I, we've served the Corinth community for about 60 years. It was very important to Sharon and I that we share our team with you. Just the same as you chose Pomeroy's Garage to work on your vehicles, each of our team members chose to come work for us because they believe in us as a company. We take that faith very seriously. Together, the Pomeroy's Garage team will continue to take care of your vehicles' needs as long as you see fit!"

Meet JEFF, our Lead Technician! He's been with us since 2016.
"I was born and raised in Bradford, joined the Army in 1980, and then was in the Maine Army National Guard for 21 years with 3 deployments. Between my wonderful wife Candace and I, we have 7 children and 5 grandkids. I became a Nissan Master Technician in 1995 while working at Darlings, then I managed an independent shop for a while. Along the way I attained my ASE Master Technician certification. Customer satisfaction is my primary concern when working on vehicles. That's one of many reasons I love working at Pomeroy's so much... our relationship with our customers is very important to us... we take their trust in us very seriously. In fact, I tell people all the time, this is the best job I’ve ever had. Part of that is the family/team I work for and with, and part of it is how the shop is run."

Meet SHARON, John's wife and our Office Manager!
"I moved from New Jersey to Maine when I was very young, grew up in Brunswick, and went to college in Orono where I got my Bachelors' in Business/Marketing. I've worked at UMaine since 2007 doing marketing and information systems management. Those skills have easily translated to helping out here with Facebook, website, marketing, bookkeeping, and HR. Since Colton was born I've really cut back my duties at the shop, but this business and its success is obviously still very important to me. I love using my business experience to help it (and our team) grow and prosper. I also spend as much time as I can volunteering for the Maine Association for Search and Rescue (MASAR) and Maine Mounted Search and Rescue (MMSAR). I own two horses, Zephyr and Kodak. Zephyr is my retired SAR partner and is rapidly becoming Colton's horse. Kodak is my new SAR partner.”
Meet COLTON, John and Sharon's son!
Colton was born in late spring of 2017 and loves trucks - tow trucks specifically - more than any other toy.

Meet CATHI, our Service Advisor!
"After a lifetime of very hectic office-management-type jobs, I needed a change of pace. This job is busy but in a different way. I love working for a small family business where I feel like I really matter - as a person - to my customers, employer, and coworkers.”

COVID UPDATE - YES WE ARE STILL OPEN TO SERVE YOU
Despite the COVID-19 Pandemic, our staff are here to serve you. We are sanitizing each vehicle before and after the service/repair, and you can pay by phone without ever seeing our staff, if you like. We have encouraged our customers to drop their vehicle off for the day rather than waiting on the premesis, although those who still need to are welcome as long as physical distancing standards are maintained. We also leave a sanitizing wipe in each vehicle so that you can wipe everything down to your satisfaction when you pick up your vehicle. Please let us know if there are any other ways we can help improve your experience!
