Service Advisor
We don't have the typical "Service Writer" because this job is more about advising the customer on what their vehicle needs to keep them safe, than it is about writing estimates!
Do you like working with people? Would you recognize great customer service if you saw it? Could you deliver it? Do you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal? Founded in 1960, Pomeroy's Garage is a busy, upbeat and honest 2nd-generation family-owned and -operated full service auto repair shop. We're looking for a self-motivated, team-oriented, and very organized automotive service advisor/writer with a positive attitude. Clean driving record is required, service writing experience is a plus but not required.
* Monday-Friday schedule (no weekends) with 1-hour lunch

Auto Service Technician / Mechanic

Founded in 1960, Pomeroy's Garage is a busy, upbeat and honest 2nd-generation family-owned and -operated full service auto repair shop. We're looking for a self-motivated and team-oriented automotive service technician with positive attitude. At least 2 years of general automotive repair/service experience and a clean driving record are required. Maine State Inspection license and ASE certifications are a plus. Mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills are a plus.

COVID UPDATE - YES WE ARE STILL OPEN TO SERVE YOU
Despite the COVID-19 Pandemic, our staff are here to serve you. We are sanitizing each vehicle before and after the service/repair, and you can pay by phone without ever seeing our staff, if you like. We have encouraged our customers to drop their vehicle off for the day rather than waiting on the premesis, although those who still need to are welcome as long as physical distancing standards are maintained. We also leave a sanitizing wipe in each vehicle so that you can wipe everything down to your satisfaction when you pick up your vehicle.
